LMP2: United Autosports Take the Lead

After finishing third in Barcelona and then taking the win in Le Castellet, Ben Hanley, Grégoire Saucy and Griffin Peebles moved up from third to first in the LMP2 standings in the no22 United Autosports Oreca 07-Gibson. After two races the United Autosports crew are on 40 points, three points ahead of the no34 Inter Europol Competition of Bijoy Garg and Reshad de Gerus, the Franco-American duo finishing second in both Barcelona and Le Castellet, with De Gerus claiming the extra point for pole position in Spain.

Round 1 winner Estaban Masson, Louis Rousset and Oliver Gray left Le Castellet with just a single point for pole position after a technical issue put them into retirement, the no29 Forestier Racing by Panis crew on 26-points, 14 behind the leaders and 2-points ahead of the no18 IDEC Sport crew of Jamie Chadwick, Laurents Hörr and Valerio Rinicella.

LMP2 Pro/Am: AF Corse Challenge Le Castellet Penalty

The no30 Duqueine Team Oreca of Doriane Pin, Giorgio Roda and Richard Verschoor left Le Castellet at the head of the LMP2 pro/Am standings thanks to two second place finishes and a pole position in Barcelona, giving the French team 31-points.

However, the standings remain provisional as AF Corse requested and have been granted a Right of Review (Stewards Decision no58) against the drive through penalty received, converted to a 35-second time penalty, that dropped the no83 Oreca-Gibson of Antonio Fuoco, Francois Perrodo and Matthieu Vaxiviere from first to sixth after the chequered flag.  Until the hearing, which will be heard at a later date, the Italian team remain in second place on 26-points, with 18 points for second in Spain and 8 points in Le Castellet.

Round 1 winners Malthe Jakobsen, Enzo Trulli and Michael Jensen failed to score in Le Castellet and remain on 25 points in the no20 Algarve Pro Racing Oreca, tied in third place with the no27 Nielsen Racing Oreca of Round 2 winners Alex Quinn, James Allen and Kriton Lentoudis.

LMP3: Inter Europol Competition Heads the Standings After Win in Le Castellet

The no13 Inter Europol Competition Ligier-Toyota moved up two places after winning in France, with Alex Bukhantsov, Chun Ting Chou and Henry Cubides-Olarte on 40-points, 9-points ahead of Round 1 winners Alvise Rodella, Jose Fernandes Cautela and Mikkel Gaarde Pedersen, who are on 31-points after the no5 Rinaldi Racing Ligier finished 7th in France.

The no85 R-ace GP Duqueine of Fabien Michal, Hugo Schwarze and Pierre-Alexandre Provost are on 27-points after two races in third place.

LMGT3: Kessel Racing Move ahead of Proton Competition

The no57 Kessel Racing Ferrari of Daniel Serra, Mathys Jaubert and Takeshi Kimura took a 9-point lead after winning the 4 Hours of Le Castellet.  The Swiss team moved ahead of Round 1 winners Richard Lietz, Matt Kurzejewski and Thomas Sargent in the no75 Proton Competition Porsche after the German team could only manage 7th in class to accumulate 31-points after two races.

The no55 Spirit of Race Ferrari 296 of David Perel, Duncan Cameron and Matt Griffin finished 4th in Le Castellet to claim third place in the standings with 20-points, with the no23 United Autosports McLaren and no33 TF Sport Corvette toed on 18-points in 4th place.
