The mechanics from each of the 47 cars taking part in this weekend’s 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps got their opportunity to take centre stage, taking part in the fourth edition of the ELMS Pitstop Challenge by Totalenergies.
Each team went up against the clock, with the four fastest crews from LMP2, LMP3 and LMGT3 going into Friday evening’s semi-final.
The no74 Kessel Racing crew of Daniele Rainoldi, Mattia Ieni and Elia Sandalini set the fastest time overall with a swift 12.985s to change all four wheels.
The four fastest teams in LMP2 were - No28 IDEC Sport (13.620s), Forestier Racing by Panis (13.860s), No18 IDEC Sport (14.875s) and TDS Racing (15.075s)
The four fastest teams in LMP3 were - DKR Engineering (18.980s), M Racing (20.730s), Team Virage (20.975s) and Rinaldi Racing (21.970s)
The four fastest teams in LMGT3 were - No74 Kessel Racing (12.985s), GR Racing (13.365s), no57 Kessel Racing (13.455s) and Spirit of Race (14.080s).
The semi-final for the 2026 ELMS Pitstop Challenge by Totalenergies will get underway at 18h00 on Friday. The teams will then repeat the task by changing all four wheels in the fastest time, with the top two in each category going forward to the final, which will decide who is declared the 2026 champions.
Each member of the fastest team in each category will receive a 150€ fuel card courtesy of Totalenergies and be awarded the coveted trophy at the awards ceremony in Portimao at the end of the season.
