...ending the session at the top of the time sheets with Jon Lancaster posting a 1m48.955 lap and 0.2s ahead of the no45 Ibanez Racing Oreca 03R-Nissan driven by Ivan Bellarosa.

The fastest driver in the LMGTE class was Alessandro Pierguidi in the no56 AT Racing Ferrari 458 Italia with a 1m56.980 lap and 11th overall on the time sheets. The Austrian team was 0.95s ahead of the no86 Gulf Racing UK Porsche 911 RSR of Adam Carroll.

In 13th overall was the top GTC car, the no62 AF Corse Ferrari of Francesco Castellacci set a 1m58.148, just 0.06s ahead of the no63 AF Corse Ferrari of Giorgio Roda.

In 22nd overall the sole LMP3 Ginetta-Nissan finished the session on a 1m59.768 as the LNT Team continued to work on the set up of the brand new car.

The third and final practice session will begin at 19h00 for a two hour test into the night at the Circuit Paul Ricard.
