FP4: AF Corse Ahead in Final Practice Session

The fourth and final Free Practice session before the big race on Saturday saw the no183 AF Corse set the fastest time, with Ben Barnicoat finishing the 60-minute session on a 3m36.111, just 0.008s ahead of his teammate Matthieu Vaxiviere and nearly seven tenths ahead of the nearest car, the no30 Duqueine Team Oreca, with Doriane Pin posting the fastest lap in the car with a 3m36.801.

The no37 CLX Motorsport Oreca was third quickest, just 0.063ahead of the no28 IDEC Sport Oreca.

The no74 Kessel Racing Ferrari was once again the fastest of the ELMS entries, with Dennis Marschall posting a 3m56.634, which put the car 9th in the class. The no150 Richard Mille AF Corse Ferrari finished the session in 11th with Lilou Wadoux setting the fastest lap in the car with a 3m56.790.

The cars will next be on track on Saturday at 12h00 for the 15-minute warm up, with the 94th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans due to start at 16h00.
