The third Free Practice session saw the no29 Forestier Racing by Panis Oreca heading the LMP2 category once again with Oliver Gray setting a 3m34.252 lap around the 13.6km circuit.
Gray’s time was just 0.001s fastest than the no30 Duqueine Team Oreca-Gibson, with Julien Andlauer setting the best time of 3m24.253, with the no343 Inter Europol Competition third quickest 0.427s behind.
The no14 TDS Racing Oreca was the fastest of the nine LMP2 Pro/Am entrants and fourth fastest in LMP2 overall. Kévin Estre posted a 3m34.769, four tenths ahead of the second fastest car in the class, the no4 Crowdstrike Racing by APR, with Alex Quinn setting the fastest lap of 3m35.169, just ahead of the no183 AF Corse in third on 3m35.295.
The no74 Kessel Racing Ferrari was the fastest ELMS car in LMGT3, with Dennis Marschall’s lap of 3m54.907 putting the car 10th in the 25 car strong class. The no59 Racing Spirit of Léman Aston Martin finished 12th with a 3m55.167, just 0.037s ahead of the no57 Kessel Racing Ferrari in 13th on a 3m55.203 lap.
The cars will be back on track for Hyperpole 1, with the LMP2 and LMGT3 session starting at 20h00 CEST.
