There have been three changes to the LMP2 line ups for the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans, the most notable being James Allen replacing Louis Delétraz in the no99 AO by TF Oreca, with the Swiss driver being called up to race the no12 Cadillac Hertz Team Jota Cadillac V Series.R alongside Will Stevens and Norman Nato.
The reason for the call up is regular driver Alex Lynn is awaiting a planned operation and due to scheduling challenges surrounding the procedure, the surgery has now been rescheduled to take place in June, with a recovery period expected to follow. Delétraz has already stood in for the British driver at the opening two FIA WEC races in Imola and Spa-Francorchamps.
This means the reigning ELMS LMP2 Pro/Am Champions, and 2025 24 Hours of Le Mans class winners, Dane Cameron and PJ Hyett will be joined by 2023 ELMS Champion James Allen for the big event.
The other two driver changes in LMP2 for the 94th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans are Lorenzo Fluxà will replace Stefan Aust in the no44 Proton Competition, while Japan’s Kakunoshin Ohta will replace Lenny Ried in the German team’s other entry, the no9 Oreca-Gibson.
