The ACO have released the provisional entry lists for the 94th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with 22 ELMS LMP2 and LMGT3 cars confirmed for the world’s greatest endurance race on 13-14 June.
2025 24 Hours of Le Mans LMP2 winners Jakub Smiechowski. Tom Dillmann and Nick Yelloly will be defending their crown in the no43 Inter Europol Competition, while last year’s LMP2 Pro/Am 24 Hours of Le Mans winners and reigning ELMS champions PJ Hyett, Dane Cameron and Louis Delétraz are also competing in the no99 AO by TF, more commonly known as ‘Spike the Dragon’.
Reigning ELMS LMP2 champions, and 4 Hours of Barcelona winners, Forestier Racing by Panis, will also field an unchanged driver line up for Le Mans with Esteban Masson, Oliver Gray and Louis Rousset in the no29 Oreca-Gibson.
The second Inter Europol Competition Oreca, which usually has just two drivers, will see a third added for the long race, with Bijoy Garg and Reshad De Gerus being joined by Swiss driver Nico Müller at Le Mans.
Doriane Pin and Richard Verschoor will have a new teammate for Le Mans in the no30 Duqueine Team Oreca, with Julien Andlauer joining the team in place of Giorgio Roda, which puts the trio in the LMP2 class instead of the LMP2 Pro/Am they contend in the ELMS.
Former ELMS LMP2 Pro/Am champions François Perrodo and Mathieu Vaxiviere will be joined in Le Mans by Ben Barnicoat in the no183 AF Corse Oreca as Antonio Fuoco will be racing the no50 Ferrari AF Corse 499P in the Hypercar class.
The no9 Proton Competition sees Jonas Ried being joined by his younger brother Lenny, with Britain’s Harry King joining the team. Stefan Aust will join father and son duo Horst Felbermayr and Horst Felix Felbermayr in the no44 Proton Competition Oreca.
The single IDEC Sport entry sees Valerio Rinicella switch from the no18 car and join Paul Lafargue and Job Van Uitert in the no28 Oreca, with regular driver Paul-Loup Chatin on Hypercar duty with Genesis Magma Racing.
4 Hours of Le Castellet race winner Gregoire Saucy will have two new teammates in the no22 United Autosports Oreca at Le Mans, with Sweden’s Rasmus Lindh and former ELMS LMP3 champion Mikkel Jensen. Saucy’s regular teammate Ben Hanley switches to the no222 Oreca, joining Daniel Schneider and Oliver Jarvis in the United Autosports Pro/Am entry.
The no37 CLX Motorsport Oreca is also fielding an unchanged ELMS driver line up, with Adrien Closmenil, Ian Aguilera and Theodor Jensen. The only change in the Vector Sport Oreca is the number on the car, with ELMS regulars Ryan Cullen, Vlad Lomko and Pietro Fittipaldi racing the no26 Oreca instead of the no10.
Algarve Pro Racing have mixed up their ELMS crews for Le Mans. With Malthe Jakobsen on Hypercar duties with Peugeot TotalEnergies, Pro/Am regulars Michael Jensen and Enzo Trulli are joined by Jake Hughes from the Pro car. However, the APR LMP2 Pro/Am entry will run with the no25 instead of the no20 at Le Mans.
Jack Doohan and Ed Pearson will both make their 24 Hours of Le Mans debuts with Nielsen Racing and will be joined in the no24 Oreca by the highly experienced silver rated Danish driver David Heinemeier Hansson.
The no3 DKR Engineering Oreca will see regular Sebastian Alvarez joined by two new teammates in Le Mans, with former ELMS LMP3 champion John Farano and Dutch platinum racer Renger Van Der Zande.
None of the regular drivers in the no14 TDS Racing Oreca will be racing the car in Le Mans, with Mathias Beche, Kevin Estre and Canadian Tobias Lutke racing for the French team.
The ELMS LMGT3 championship winning TF Sport Corvette will be on the grid but with a completely different crew from the regulars competing in the ELMS this season, with Malaysian drivers HRH Prince Jefri Ibrahim and Afiq Ikhwan and British platinum rated driver Ben Green.
The distinctive colours of the 4 Hours of Le Castellet winning no57 Kessel Racing Ferrari will be on the grid at Le Mans, with regulars Takeshi Kimura and Daniel Serra being joined by Danish driver Conrad Laursen as Mathys Jaubert will be racing the Genesis GMR-001-Hypercar at Le Mans.
The equally distinctive colours of the no62 Team Qatar by Iron Lynx Mercedes-AMG will be taking to the LMGT3 grid, with Abdulla Ali Al-Khelaifi and Julian Hanses being joined by French racer Giuliano Alesi, the son of former F1 racer Jean Alesi.
Racing Spirit of Léman will be on the LMGT3 grid at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with an unchanged ELMS driver lineup of Clement Mateu, Marius Fossard and Valentin Hasse Clot. The ELMS race winning trio of Custodio Toledo, Lilou Wadoux and Riccardo Agostini will also be on the grid at Le Mans in the Richard Mille AF Corse Ferrari 296.
