Goodyear 4 Hours of Silverstone – Facts and Figures

• The very first race of the new ELMS era run by LMEM was held at Silverstone on the 13th April 2013 with a three-hour race on the full GP circuit.  The race was won by British team JOTA Sport with British drivers Oliver Turvey and Simon Dolan winning in a British built Zytek-Nissan.
• Silverstone was the first circuit to host a 4-hour race for the ELMS on 19th April 2014.
• Silverstone also hosted the first race for LMP3 in 2015, which was won by an all-British team, crew and car. Sir Chris Hoy and Charlie Robertson won for Team LNT in a Ginetta-Nissan.
• Five British drivers have won in LMP3 at home in Silverstone: Sir Chris Hoy, Charlie Robertson, Alex Brundle, Christian England and Matt Bell.
• In 2025 three British drivers stood on the top step of the podium.  Jamie Chadwick in LMP2 and Alex Quinn and Olli Caldwell in LMP2 Pro/Am.
• Both the LMP2 Pro/Am and LMGT3 classes competed at Silverstone in 2025 for the first time.
• British teams Gulf Racing (now GR Racing), Aston Martin Racing, TF Sport and JMW Motorsport have been victorious at home in the LMGTE class since 2013. 
• United Autosports has been the most successful team at Silverstone in the ELMS with an overall win in 2017, three wins in LMP3 in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and three further LMP3 podiums.
