The final 90-minute Free Practice session was held on Saturday morning, with overnight rain making the track conditions a little tricky with a dry line forming during the session.
The fastest car was the no29 Forestier Racing by Panis, with Esteban Masson setting a 2m03.143, a second slower than the best lap set in FP1 the day before. The no18 IDEC Sport was second quickest, with Valerio Rinicella posting a 2m04.273, 0.197s ahead of the no22 United Autosports.
The no83 AF Corse Oreca was the fastest car in LMP2 Pro/Am, with Matthie Vaxiviere setting a 2m04.553 best lap, which was good enough for 4th overall. The no99 AO by TF Oreca was second fastest in the class, Dane Cameron lapping the 7km Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in 2m05.405 in 9th overall.
The LMP3 field was headed by the no85 R-ace GP Duqueine, with Pierre-Alexandre Provost posting a 2m16.540, 0.605s ahead of the no17 CLX Motorsport Ligier of Louis Iglesias and a further two tenths ahead of the no35 Ultimate Ligier of Sebastian Gravland.
The no23 United Autosports McLaren 720S set the pace in the LMGT3 category, with Wayne Boyd’s 2m18.893 lap, 0.156s ahead of the no50 Richard Mille AF Corse Ferrari of Riccardo Agostini. The no74 Kessel Racing Ferrari was third quickest with a 2m19.580 set by Fran Rueda, 0.074s ahead of the no62 Team Qatar by Iron Lynx Mercedes-AMG of Maxime Martin.
Qualifying for the 4 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps is due to start at 12h30 with the LMGT3 category going on track first.
