The first race of the 2026 European Le Mans Series is just one month away, with the 4 Hours of Barcelona Round taking place on Sunday 12 April.
The full season grid of 47 cars across the four classes will assemble at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for the opening round of the six-race series.However, the event in Spain will actually begin on Monday 6 April with The Prologue, the two day official pre-season test.
The first 4-hour test session begins at 09h00 on Monday morning, with the second 3-hour session at 14h00 after lunch.There are a further two 30-minute sessions in the evening, one for LMGT3 and LMP3 and the second for LMP2 and LMP2 Pro/Am.
Day two of The Prologue begins at 09h00 for another 4-hour test session on Tuesday 7 April, with the final session at 14h00, which concludes at 17h00.
The 4 Hours of Barcelona weekend begins on Friday 10 April with Free Practice 1, starting at 11h50 and finishing at 13h20, with the 30-minute Bronze Driver Collective Test at 16h10.
On Saturday 11 April the second 90-minute Free Practice session starts at 10h10.Qualifying for the 4 Hours of Barcelona starts at 15h05 for LMGT3, with three further 15-minute sessions for LMP3 (15h30), LMP2 Pro/Am (15h55) and LMP2 (16h20).
The 4 Hours of Barcelona takes place on Sunday 12 April, with the race due to start at 12h00 and the chequered flag waved four hours later at 16h00. Qualifying and the race will be available to view live on the brand new FIAWEC+ app.
