During the off season the French Thiriet by TDS Racing team decided to change car constructor, from Oreca to Onroak Automotive. The team therefore started the 2014 ELMS season with a Morgan Nissan LMP2, winning the first round at Silverstone. With a fifth place in Imola the team is today leading the ELMS championship in the LMP2 category ahead of JOTA Sport.
The team from the South of France is determined to recapture the title it lost in 2013 to Signatech Alpine. For the time being, Thiriet by TDS Racing leads the championship with 35 points ahead of JOTA Sport (27) and Signatech Alpine (25). As a reminder, following Le Mans, the next ELMS round will be in Austria for the 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring on July 19/20th.
