Last night, SMP racing presented the launch of their 2016 ELMS season in the prestigious Automobile Club de Monaco.
Among the guest of Boris Rottenberg, the founder of the SMP program, were Gérard Neveu, ELMS and FIA WEC CEO, and Michel Boeri President of the Automobile Club de Monaco).
SMP Racing will run one BR01 in this year European Le Mans Series Championship driven by Monegasque Stefano Coletti, Colombian Julian Leal and German Andreas Wirth.
The Russian team will also have two entries in the FIA WEC championship with two LMP2, one of them driven by former Formula One driver Vitaly Petrov.
