In just under a month we will be in Barcelona for the launch of the 2021 season. But before that, let’s have a look at what happened last month on the European Le Mans Series planet:

The date of the 4 Hours of Le Castellet has been moved to the 4-6th of June, due to the new dates of the 2021 24 Hours of Le Mans, which will now take place on the 21st and 22nd August.
15 ELMS cars will take part in the 2021 24 Hours of Le Mans, which is equal to 24% of the grid. CLICK HERE to read the story and to download the entry list.
We had some drivers’ announcement over last month. Louis Delétraz will be joining Team WRT for the 2021 season alongside Yifei Ye and Robert Kubica: “I’m really glad to join Team WRT for the 2021 ELMS season. We have a very strong line-up with Robert and Yifei, and I am sure we are going to be competitive straight away as a team. After my extended single-seater and LMP1 experiences, this is going to be a new challenge that I’m really looking forward to. There is no doubt that Team WRT is one of the most successful squads out there. I want to thank Vincent and his people for the trust and for giving me this opportunity.”
Another famous name has made an appearance on the entry list, with Pietro Fittipaldi, the grandson of the two-time Formula 1 World champion, Emerson Fittipaldi. He will be racing at the wheel of the n°25 Algarve Pro Racing Oreca 07 alongside John Falb and Rui Andrade.

A new LMP2 Pro/Am trophy will be introduced this season for all the line-ups that will include at least one Bronze driver. Seven cars this season will be eligible for this new trophy. CLICK HERE to learn more.
