Jota Sport, SMP Racing and Formula Racing Win Imola Thriller

The no43 Newblood by Morand Racing Morgan of Christian Klein looked like winning the 4 Hours of Imola after passing the no38 Jota Sport Zytek 14 laps from the end of the race by dramatically the Austrian's car slowed and stopped five minutes from the chequered flag allowing the pole position car to score the victory in round 2 of the European Le Mans Series.

In LMGTE Andrea Bertolini gave the SMP Racing the win with a last lap pass on the no81 Kessel Racing Ferrari of Thomas Kemenater. Bertolini stood on the top step of the podium with his Russian teammates Viktor Shaitar and Sergey Zlobin.

In GTC it was victory for the pole sitting no60 Formula Racing Ferrari 458 of Johnny Laursen, Andrea Piccini and Mikkel Mac.
