Gabriel Aubry with Panis Racing for the 4 Hours Barcelona

Frenchman Gabriel Aubry will replace James Allen for the first ELMS race in Barcelona in the #65 Panis Racing Oreca. The Australian tested positive for Covid-19 (asymptomatic) and will miss the opening round of the season before being back in his racing seat for the next round at the Red Bull Ring, alongside Will Stevens and Julien Canal.

Gabriel Aubry: "It's a last-minute call, but I'm thrilled to join the Panis Racing team and the Tech1 racing staff, few days ahead of the WEC race in Spa-Francorchamps! Even though arriving in Barcelona in such conditions is not ideal, I am happy to race for a team I know well and also with my mate Will Stevens with whom I shared the WEC season in 2019/2020.

Under these circumstances, the team is doing its best to fit me in, so I can perform this weekend. I can't wait to see where we stand on Sunday! "
