In LMP2, the first ELMS team is SMP Racing with the Dallara P217 n°27, Mikhail Aleshin just improve his time at the end of the session with a lap in 3:27.782 and is standing in 10th position in the class. After suffering from some mechanical problems yesterday and during the second qualifying session, the mechanics did a great job to bring back their car up in the timing sheet.
In 12th and 13th we found the two Oreca 07 of Graff Racing, with the n°39 (Enzo Guibbert/ Eric Trouillet/ James Winslow) in front and followed by his sister the n°40 driven by James Allen, Franck Matelli and Richard Bradley.
From the 11th to the 20th position there is only ELMS teams following each other and separated by only 4 seconds.

In LMGTE Am, the first ELMS team is on fifth position and this is the n°55 Spirit of Race Ferrari with a lap in 3:53.641. It is followed by the F488 of JMW Motorsport that did really well in the second qualifying session finishing first with a lap in 3:53.981 with Will Stevens breaking a lap record. The third ELMS team is the Aston Martin Vantage n°90 of TF Sport which stand in 8th position of the class followed by his sister the Beechdean AMR n°99 of Andrew Howard, Ross Gunn and Oliver Bryant setting a lap in 3:54.328 of the 13,6km La Sarthe track.
There is no track action tomorrow to allow teams time to prepare the cars for the twice-round-the-clock classic which begins at 15h00 on Saturday.
