A bumper grid of 41 cars will line up on Sunday 16th May for the 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring and the teams and drivers, representing 29 different nations from around the world, will once again go head-to-head in the foothills of the Styrian Alps.

LMP2: Can Orlen Team WRT Make it Two in a Row?
- 16 cars on the LMP2 grid, 7 entries in the Pro/Am category
- Championship leaders Orlen Team WRT will face strong opposition in Austria. The Belgian team have an unchanged driver line up of Kubica, Deletraz and Ye for Round 2
- Pro/Am leaders Ultimate also have unchanged driver line up.
- 2018 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring was won by G-Drive Racing and 2018 winner Roman Rusinov is joined by Franco Colapinto and Nyck De Vries for this year’s race.
- Reigning LMP2 champions no22 United Autosports and Phil Hanson finished 3rd in 2018 race and are currently 3rd in 2021 title race, with Tom Gamble and Jonathan Aberdein.
- There are two Austrian drivers on the LMP2 grid.Ferdinand Habsburg (Algarve Pro Racing) and Rene Binder (Duqueine Team)
- Logan Sargeant replaces Harry Tincknell at Racing Team Turkey
LMP3: Action all the Way
- 16 cars on the LMP3 grid in Austria
- Championship leaders Cool Racing will be trying to make it two in a row with Nicolas Maulini, Matt Bell and Niklas Kruetten.
- After finishing second in Barcelona, RLR MSport will be hoping to repeat the result of 2018 when John Farano, Job Van Uitert and Rob Garofall took victory on their way to the LMP3 title at the end of the season.
- After Salih Yoluc, the ELMS will see a second Turkish driver take part in a 4-Hour race with Cem Bolukasi making his series debut for 2019 champions Eurointernational.
- Martin Hippe in the #13 Inter Europol Competition Ligier finished 3rd in the 2018 race and will be hoping for a similar, if not better result, in 2021 after finishing 3rd in Round 1 in Spain last month.
LMGTE: Iron Lynx, the team to beat?
- 9 cars on the LMGTE grid for the 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring
- Six Ferraris, two Porsche and one Aston Martin
- Round 1 winner #80 Iron Lynx Ferrari will field an unchanged line up of Matteo Cressoni, Rino Mastronardi and Miguel Molina
- There is one Austrian driver on the LMGTE grid, former FIA WEC Champion Richard Lietz, who will join Michael Fassbender and Felipe Laser in the #93 Proton Competition Porsche.
- Proton Competition will field two new drivers in the #77 Porsche alongside 2020 champion Christian Ried.Cooper MacNeil and Matt Campbell will replace Jaxon Evans and Gianmaria Bruni.
The 4 Hours of Red Bull Ring will take place on the 16th of May 2021 at 11h CEST and is Round 2 of the 2021 European Le Mans Series.
