Over 1130 participants in the second edition of the ELMS Charity Run in support of the Luca Guintoli Foundation, raising £24550.46 for the charity.
Supported by Goodyear, the run saw fans run alongside drivers and team members on the iconic 5.891km Silverstone Grand Prix circuit on Friday evening as the sun set behind the grandstands.
The Luca Guintoli Foundation was established by former MotoGP rider and WorldSBK Champion Sylvain Guintoli and his wife Caroline in memory of their son, Luca, who passed away from an aggressive form of cancer. The foundation is dedicated to supporting families affected by childhood cancer and helping fund vital research.
A cheque for £24550.46 was presented to Caroline Guintoli by ACO President Pierre Fillon, Director of Goodyear Racing EMEA Mathias Kipp and LMEM CEO Frédéric Lequien.
While the ELMS Charity Run is now completed for another year, people can still donate to the Luca Guintoli Foundation via the official GoFundMe page HERE.
