Paul-Loup Chatin set a lap in 3.40.308 and took the third position of the LMP2 class.

The french driver headed the Oreca 05 n°33 of Eurasia Motorsport and the n°46 of Thiriet by TDS Racing with Mathias Beche, Pierre Thiriet and Ryo Hirakawa at the wheel.

For many of the drivers it offered a first opportunity to work on set up in preparation for tonight’s first qualifying session.

The session was interrupted by three red flags to retrieve stranded cars, and by several rain showers around the 13.6 km circuit.
