Lors de la seconde manche de l'ELMS, Matt Griffin et Johnny Mowlem, au volant de la Ferrari F458 Italia de Ram Racing, se sont octroyé les deux tiers du podium LMGTE des 3 Heures d'Imola sur l'Autodromo Enzo & Dinoa Ferrari.
Le 19/05/2013 RAM RACING FINISH 1ST AND 3RD IN ITALY In only its second race in the series, Ram Racing's Matt Griffin and Johnny Mowlem today brought the new British GT team its first victory of its short racing career, its first win of the 2013 European Le Mans Series in the 3 Hours of Imola in Italy, and led a Ferrari 1-2-3 at the Autodromo Enzo & Dino Ferrari. - Alpine A450 drivers Nelson Panciatici and Pierre Ragues completed the 3 Hours of Imola (round two of the 2013 European Le Mans Series) in second place.
- Thanks to their first podium finish of the season, Signatech-Alpine and its drivers are currently second in the championship's provisional standings.
- Signatech-Alpine's focus will now switch to its preparations for the 90th anniversary Le Mans 24 Hours on June 22-23. The Alpine A450 will be shared at the French race by Nelson Panciatici, Pierre Ragues and Tristan Gommendy, with Paul-Loup Chatin as the team's reserve driver.

Le 19/05/2013 Defending winners Thiriet by TDS Racing do it again with the ORECA 03 « Like the good old days ». Reunited for the first time since winning the 2012 championship, Pierre Thiriet and Mathias Beche picked up where they left off in the European Le Mans Series : driving the ORECA 03 entered by Thiriet by TDSRacing, the two men took the 3 Hours of Imola victory ! They finished ahead of the Alpine driven by Ragues/Panciatici, built and developed by ORECA. Second in the opening round, Race Performance finished just off the podium with their ORECA 03 in the hands of Michel Frey and Patric Niederhauser. In addition, the two top finishing cars were powered by a Nissan engine preparedby the ORECA engine department based in Magny-Cours. Reigning ELMS Champions Thiriet by TDS Racing returned to the top step of the podium when Pierre Thiriet crossed the line in the team's Oreca-Nissan to take maximum points in Italy for himself, the team and co-driver Mathias Beche. The gap of 46 seconds to the second placed nr36 Signatech Alpine Alpine-Nissan of Nelson Panciatici didn't reflect the hard fought victory which saw a race long challenge from round 1 winners Simon Dolan and Oliver Turvey in the nr38 Jota Sport Zytek Nissan that ended in disappointment for the British team when Dolan was unsighted by a backmarker, which caused a collision spinning him into the gravel.

L'écurie championne de la saison ELMS 2012 Thiriet by TDS Racing a retrouvé la première marche du podium aujourd'hui à Imola, lorsque Pierre Thiriet a franchi la ligne d'arrivée au volant de l'ORECA03 Nissan n°1 engrangeant un maximum de points pour les pilotes et l'équipe. L'avance de 46 secondes en fin de course sur l'Alpine n°36 de Signatech Alpine pilotée par Nelson Panciatici et Pierre Ragues ne reflète pourtant pas la nature de la lutte qui s'est déroulée entre Thiriet by TDS Racing et Jota Sport. La course de la Zytek Nissan n°38 de Simon Dolan et Olivier Turvey cependant a été écourtée après un accrochage avec un concurrent qui lui a valu une sortie de piste définitive.
Dans la catégorie LMPC, la victoire est revenue au polemen de la classe, la FLM09 du Team Endurance Challenge n°49, pilotée par le Suisse Gary Hirsch et le Français Paul Loup Chatin. Ils ont mené la course LMPC de bout en bout en se plaçant sans démériter au beau milieu des LMP2.
Le 18/05/2013 EXCITEMENT ALL THE WAY IN THE FIRST 90 MINUTES OF THE 3 HOURS OF IMOLAThe 3 Hours of Imola has provided non stop action for the first half of the race and rain has been reported on parts of the track to add another element into who will prove to be victorious at the end of the second round of 2013 European Le Mans Series.
The lead of the race is being held by the nr1 Thiriet by TDS Racing Oreca Nissan of Pierre Thiriet but is closely followed by the nr38 Jota Sport Zytek Nissan of Simon Dolan, which had started on pole position.
The LMPC leader is the nr49 Team Endurance Challenge FLM Oreca of Paul Loup Chatin which has led from the start of the race.
The LMGTE battle is still being led by the nr52 RAM Racing Ferrari of Matt Griffin, while the GTC class leader is the nr69 SMP Racing Ferrari, now in the hands of Fabio Babini Le 18/05/2013 ANIMATIONS NON STOP SUR LE CIRCUIT D'IMOLA APRES 90MNLes 3 Heures d'Imola on tenu les spectateurs en haleine pendant toute la première moitié de la course et les premières gouttes de pluie ont fait leur apparition apportant encore davantage d'excitation au sein de la course.
Si la course des LMP2 était menée par l'Oreca Nissan n°1 de Thiriet by TDS Racing pilotée par Pierre Thiriet, la lutte a été très élevée tout au long de la première partie entre la n°1 et la Zytek Nissan n°38 de Jota Sport entre les mains de Simon Dolan, qui partait en pole.
L'ORECA FLM 09 n°49 partie en tête de la catégorie LMPC a gardé la main mise sur le classement grâce à Gary Hirsch et Paul Loup Chatin.
En LMGTE, la bataille est menée par la Ferrari n°52 de Ram Racing pilotée par Matt Griffin, pendant qu'en GTC, ce sont les nouveaux venus de SMP Racing qui tiennent le haut du classement après 90 minutes de course, avec Fabio Babini en piste.

Championship leaders Jota Sport scored their second pole position in two races when Oliver Turvey lapped the 4.9km Imola circuit in 1m34.343 in the team's Zytek-Nissan, nearly half a second ahead of 2012 Champions Thiriet by TDS Racing. Jota will now start the 3 Hours of Imola this afternoon at the head of the 28 car field.

The opening day of the 3 Hours of Imola weekend ended under sunny skies with the nr36 Signatech Alpine finish with the fastest lap of the day around the 4.9km Imola circuit. Nelson Panciatici posted a 1m36.214 time, 0.6 seconds quicker than the nearest rival, the nr18 Murphy Prototypes Oreca-Nissan of Brendon Hartley and Mark Patterson. Panciatici's lap was over three seconds faster than the best LMP2 time set during the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (ILMC) 6 hour race held in July 2011.

Soheil Ayari and Anthony Pons avoided trouble in an action packed race to take their first victory of the season. The 3 Hours of Silverstone, first round of the 2013 European Le Mans Series, was run under particularly difficult weather conditions.In fact, race direction showed the red flag to stop the race with 40 minutes to thefinish.

L'écurie 100% britannique Jota Sport Zytek Nissan de Simon Dolan et Oliver Turvey a remporté la course quelque peu raccourcie des 3 Heures de Silverstone, dans des conditions climatiques dignes d'un temps bien anglais sur le circuit de Silverstone… La météo de la première manche de l'European Le Mans Series 2013 a été telle que pour des raisons de sécurité évidentes, la course a été stoppée après 75% de sa distance.

The all British Jota Sport Zytek Nissan of Simon Dolan and Oliver Turvey won a shortened 3 Hours of Silverstone as the great British weather played an important role in deciding the opening round of the 2013 European Le Mans Series. The weather conditions, which worsened as the race progressed, forced a long safety car period and then the red flags came out to end the race after 75% distance.

This morning it was on a wet and cold track that the European Le Mans Series competitors began their first free practice session of the day. But the sun made an appearance and it was in warmer conditions, although still on a wet track, that the second session was held this afternoon.

This coming weekend the ELMS (European Le Mans Series) kicks off at Silverstone, in the United Kingdom. A championship held over 5 rounds on the circuits of Silverstone (GB), Imola (I), Red Bull Ring (A), Hungaroring (H) & Paul Ricard (FR). The American-Austrian MOMO-Megatron-DF1 team will be putting in its first appearance in this endurance championship. The collaboration between MOMO-Megatron (USA)and downFORCE1 (DF1) was concluded at the end of 2012 by Andreas Leberle, who as team principal is also responsible for entering the Audi R8 LMS ultra in the ELMS GTC class. The race started on a dry track. Matthieu Lahaye took advantage of his pole position and hit the front when the lights went out. The no. 24 OAK Racing Morgan-Judd came round in front of Hancock's Zytek-Nissan, the second OAK Racing Morgan of Bertrand Baguette, Thiriet's Oreca-Nissan, Sims' Lola-Judd, Firth's Oreca-Nissan and Brundle's Zytek-Nissan. Marroc's Oreca-Nissan collided with Ayari's similar car on the first lap as they tried to avoid Alex Brundle who has gone wide and bounced off a kerb.
Le départ de la course a été donné sur une piste sèche. Profitant de sa pole position, Matthieu Lahaye est parvenu à conserver la tête dès le peloton libéré par l‘extinction des feux. La Morgan-Judd n°24 de OAK Racing devance alors la Zytek-Nissan de Hancock, la seconde Morgan-Nissan de OAK Racing de Baguette, l'Oreca-Nissan de Thiriet, la Lola-Judd de Sims, l'Oreca-Nissan de Firth et la Zytek-Nissan de Brundle. Dans ce premier tour, un accrochage est survenu entre l'Oreca-Nissan de Marroc et celle d'Ayari en voulant éviter Brundle sorti large sur un vibreur.
Frenchman Matthieu Lahaye likes Donington. He raced there in Formula Renault 2.0 and set pole in the Mégane Trophy in 2006. In qualifying today for the English round of the ELMS Lahaye bagged pole position in 1m 20.921s in the OAK Racing Morgan-Judd. It was also his first pole in sports car racing!
Sur le circuit de Donington qu'il apprécie tout particulièrement pour y avoir roulé en Formula Renault 2.0 et signé la pole position en Megane Trophy en 2006, le Français Matthieu Lahaye (27 ans) a réalisé le meilleur chrono de la séance qualificative (1min 20'' 921) au volant de la Morgan-Judd du OAK Racing. Il signe du même coup la première pole position de sa carrière en Sportscar.
The ELMS teams had to cope with execrable weather conditions on the first day of free practice at Donington, the theatre of the second round of the season. Last weekend, the teams entered in the European Le Mans Series put on a top-notch performance in the 80th Le Mans 24 Hours.
The Thiriet by TDS Racing team, winner of the Le Castellet 6 Hours and current leader in the ELMS championship, qualified in fourth place in the LM P2 category at Le Mans. In the race, Beche-Thiriet-Tinseau were in second place at the end of the first hour and Beche led for a few laps.

The Thiriet by TDS Racing team, winner of the Le Castellet 6 Hours and current leader in the ELMS championship, qualified in fourth place in the LM P2 category at Le Mans. In the race, Beche-Thiriet-Tinseau were in second place at the end of the first hour and Beche led for a few laps.

A commencer par l'écurie Thiriet by TDS Racing, victorieuse lors des 6 Heures du Castellet et actuelle leader du classement ELMS. Après s'est qualifié en 4ème position de la catégorie LMP2, l'équipage Beche/Thiriet/Tinseau s'est emparé de la 2ème place en course à l'issue de la première heure, Mathias Beche prenant même un temps la tête. Victime de plusieurs aléas inhérents à une telle compétition (dont plusieurs crevaisons), l'Oreca 03-Nissan rétrogradait au 16ème rang avant d'entamer une superbe remontée pour conquérir la deuxième marche du podium LMP2. Pour sa première participation aux 24 Heures du Mans, l'écurie Thiriet by TDS Racing s'est d'ores et déjà affirmée comme l'une des références de la catégorie.

Point d'orgue de la saison Endurance internationale, les 24 Heures du Mans qui se déroulent ce week-end (16&17 juin) compteront quinze écuries de l'European Le Mans Series sur la grille de départ. Ainsi, dix équipes LM P2 sur les onze qui animent habituellement l'ELMS, soit la moitié du plateau LM P2 présent au Mans, disputeront la victoire de la catégorie aux habituels concurrents du FIA World Endurance Championship présents également au départ.
La journée test des 24 Heures du Mans 2012, qui s'est déroulée le dimanche 3 juin, a été
marquée par le violent accident de Guillaume Moreau au volant de la
0ak Pescarolo n°15 alignée en LM P1. Suite à cette violente sortie de piste
survenue au virage du Karting en fin de matinée, le Français souffre d'un grave,
mais partiel, traumatisme de la moelle épinière causé par une fracture de la
douzième vertèbre. Guillaume a été opéré en urgence par le Professeur
Olivier Lucas du Service de neuro-chirurgie du CHU d'Angers. Il fallait
diminuer le plus rapidement possible la compression de la moelle générée
par la fracture. L'opération s'est bien déroulée. Il sera cependant
nécessaire d'attendre quelques mois pour connaître le niveau de
récupération du pilote. Toutes les pensées de l'équipe Peter Auto vont à Guillaume Moreau, ainsi qu'à sa famille et à l'écurie OAK Racing, pour lui souhaiter un prompt rétablissement.
After a general meeting held last night, the Automobile Club de l'Ouest nominated its new president. After eight years, Jean-Claude Plassart passes the relay to Pierre Fillon. Steering Committee member for six years and Vice-President, the brother of ex. Prime Minister, François Fillon, becomes the ACO's eighth President. Ophthalmologist, Pierre Fillon (53 years old), loves motor sports and has in particular participated several times in Le Mans Classic, of which the next edition will be held on 6, 7 and 8 July. The first event placed under his presidency will be the 80th edition of the Le Mans 24 Hours next 16 and 17 June.

Membre du Comité directeur depuis six ans et Président-adjoint, le frère de l'ancien Premier ministre François Fillon devient le huitième Président de l'ACO. Ophtamologiste de profession, Pierre Fillon (53 ans), est un passionné de sport automobile. Pratiquant à ses heures, il a notamment participé à plusieurs reprises au Mans Classic, dont la prochaine édition se tiendra les 6, 7 et 8 juillet. Le premier évènement placé sous sa présidence sera la 80ème édition des 24 Heures du Mans qui se dérouleront les 16 et 17 juin.
