At the half way point of the 4 Hours of Monza the no22 G-Drive Racing Oreca of Leo Roussel was holding a 20 second lead over the no21 Dragonspeed Oreca and the n39 Graff Oreca of Eric Trouillet.

The no39 car had led for most of the first two hours at the hands of Enzo Guibbert, with the no21 Dragonspeed Oreca challenging and then leading in the hands of Nico Lapierre as several Full Course Yellows caused some of the teams to adjust their race strategy .

In the LMGTE class the no55 Spirit of Race Ferrari F488 was holding a comfortable lead in the hands of Duncan Cameron but the British driver headed to the pits at the top of the hour.  This promoted the no66 JMW Motorsport Ferrari F458 with Rob Smith at the wheel into the lead, with Romain Brandela in the no50 Larbre Corvette 11 seconds behind.

The LMP3 class was led by the no19 M.Racing-YMR Norma M30 with Australian Ricky Capo at the wheel.  The no11 Eurointernational Ligier was a close second before Giorgio Mondini went straight on at Turn 4 and had to take the escape road to rejoin the track further back but still in second place.
